By: M.S.Yatnatti Editor and Video Journalist : Reportedly Prime Minister Narendra Modi's wasted more time in elections and politics than doing development of the country and forgotten "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas" and forgotten his own promises made to nation..Reports coming in from Delhi :The Aam Aadmni Party (AAP) has not only won an unprecedented landslide victory in the Delhi assembly election, but 45 of their candidates, out of 67 who won, decimated their opponents by a margin of 20,000 votes or more to storm into the 70-seat assembly. In a historic election 2015 that would and could be far-reaching implications for India's politics and its policies, Narendra Modi, a rank outsider to Union Governmentpolitics, has failed to deliver after becoming prime minister of India of diverse nation of 1.2 billion people, and AAP storming into its citadels of power by decimating the BJP party that has ruled since may 2014 failed to reach people of Delhi with any development and it failed to slve any problem of Delhi . Once Kejriwal and AAP, will takes oath of office of Chief Minister of Delhi he will reportedly said that "He will fulfill All promises made to the people of Delhi and his responsibility is increased and he will take central government into confidence and avoid confrontation with center .
Reportedly Barack Hussein Obama played an indirect role in the Delhi elections, albeit unwittingly and unknowingly? The US President's high voltage parting town hall speech at Siri Fort auditorium dropped into the febrile pre-election ground in Delhi, and in a strange way, seemed to have struck a chord. In the midst of this dissonance, Obama's speech resonated. "Nowhere is it going to be more necessary to uphold (religious faith) than in India. India will succeed so long as it is not splintered on religious lines."His visit came at a time when the rumblings from the loony fringe of the saffron establishment were relentlessly in the news with the kind of talk on "ghar wapsi" and "ramzaade-haramzade" that made the urban Indian deeply uncomfortable. From economic development and cleaning India, the national discourse appeared to have been overtaken by strange men asking women to have four children, or churches being 'vandalized'. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's silence provided fodder to the critics who felt that "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas" was a ruse which was discarded after the elections in 2014 and it was going to be 'back-to-basics' now and all the more damage was done by kind of talk on "ghar wapsi" and "ramzaade-haramzade and churches being 'vandalized' in New Delhi and PM silence on the subject and center did nothing . Reportedly Obama's criticism did put the spotlight on the utterances by Hindutva hawks of BJP which distracted attention from the Modi government's development agenda and put off an influential section of the youth and educated women who participated in Modi's thumping victory in 2014, where the dominant theme was something they signed on to - a better economy, development, and an opportunity for a better deal for themselves and their children. Having four children OR ten children was not part of the plan.
Reportedly the Modi government is likely to alter the course of its arrogance and ensure reforms but is expected to include more "pro-people" initiatives that have a visible impact. For a government that has spent the first eight months talking of pro-people reforms in governance, the verdict in Delhi is expected to prompt a rethink to ensure that the approach followed by it has "greater connect" and it needs to deliver god times..
Coming out to the balcony of AAP's Patel Nagar office to address supporters at 11.45am, Kejriwal's message was one of humility. "I request all workers and MLAs, zara bhi ahankaar mat karna. Congress ka jo haal hua woh ahankaar ki wajah se hua. BJP ka jo haal ho raha hai, woh ahankaar ki wajah se. Hamara bhi yahi haal hoga agar hum ahankaar karte hain (Don't get arrogant. Congress and BJP were defeated because of arrogance and we will meet the same fate if we become arrogant)," he said.
AAP headed government will face intense scrutiny of his actions as he will face awakened India and his every action and moment of work will be watched by 1.20 billion Indian people as India is awakened. Kejriwal need to do more work and less talk and deliver more and promise less without wasting his single minute.Let AAP form the Delhi Government without fanfare: Let the AAP form the Government and start functioning and BJP function as opposition party and all other parties which are in opposition start functioning and let people of India see the good days pouring in as promise by all. Arvind Kejriwal still needs support of Narendra Modi. Exchange of pleasantries between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and chief minister-designate Arvind Kejriwal after the latter's landslide win must translate into Centre-state cooperation.
