As unemployment looms over India, a new report has recently shown that more than 80% of Indian engineers are unemployable. According to Aspiring Minds' National Employability Engineers Annual Report 2019, lack of industry exposure and theory-based curriculum has contributed to this skill gap. The report also claims that only 40% of engineering students get internship opportunity and only 36% take up projects outside of their coursework.
